Spawn vs. Dad 2: The Revenge of the Kids

In commemoration of our 100th post. We’ve decided to let the some of the kids who made this whole thing possible take over again. It’s sort of “kids say the darnedest things” mixed with a bit of “kids are strange, odd and a bit frightening.”

Fire away, kids!

My 3 year old’s drawing. She put a lot of time and detail into this lovely and beautiful..friendly looking…picture.  Sort of looks like a fierce deity of some sort . -John

Oddly (and scarily) similar to Hindu Goddess Kali?  _Phil

Um…on that note…not frightened at all…

Some lighter reading by:
John’s 5 yr old Boy
(note that daddy is not mentioned once)

The Buckets are blue.
The spiders and the buckets and the cheese on top.
And the webs.

And I love Mommy. Mommy’s very special and I love her so so much. I will give her a kiss. And mommy is the greatest mommy in the whole world.

I love my doggies so so much too. I love my kitties and they jump in my bed and I pet them at night then it makes me so so sleepy and I fall asleep.

That’s all I want to say.

And a word from
John’s 3 yr old Girl
(note that daddy is not mentioned here either)

I love my mommy so much, and my brother.

——————————————

Hmmm, I wonder if this means there’s a “Mommy vs. (Neglected) Dad” post on the way. Excellent, albeit scary, work, kids! _Phil

Hello,

Came across this from @fadderly. This is so awesome. I just had to leave a comment. I love the choice of colors, theme and composition. Future Klee? Happy Van Gogh? I don’t know, but I’m loving it. Thanks! Mary. <3
